but with the dawn hope rekindled 
the horselords defying death 
rode to aid 
and even the dead ones from dunharrow 
were agaist the lord of darkness 
though by an oath unfullfilled 

troops of morgul 
overthrown 
the witch king 
slain 
to a man 
by steel fire or water 
all enemys on the battleground 
were put to death
