Alas, Daemonium 

Amidst the haze I scramble uphill
Wading through snowfields and streams
Streaks of ice high upon the cliff
Sensation of flow’s reigning supreme 
Let it be done
So spoke the One 

Reaching the top, nowhere left to rise
Another new peak in a row of highs
Fulfilling feeling (of) conquering all
Immortality's so close then I fall 

This dark night of the soul is quickly overwhelming
My conscience is fading, I’m falling down to the sky

Stuck, suspended, drying, relentless I should
Die trying or face my bitter end
Deep down always knew that I once again would
Just a matter of when    

My lifeblood's falling up
The white-nightsky avenger persists 
Her force’s engulfing me
With the horror of understanding
(Up to the abyss) 

I will sever the ties, (that) bound me to this life
One final relentless strike and off my body will fly

My own true will chooses the time
Not left here to wait for my demise
Or on and on it goes, through this life I’m gonna hide 

After all I had,
Was it worth being damned?
Should I have a chance to renew
Would I do it again all the way through?

The wind is blowing now, so cold, so freezing cold
Alas, my story is nearly told
If it’s true that all beauty must die,
