the instruction of coming desolation
on their knees
begging mere illusions for their life
again to dominate
through the obsession
of a desire to rape
immersed in the slaughter
of another hopeless attempt to survive
a serpent biting its tail
trembling hands pulling the strings
parading these years of implored suffering
upon the immemorial wound for you to prey on
awaiting in line to carve out the heart in cold blood
to mourn in revelry of this existence
that the dead can walk on their own grave
