Regicide - Hopefull Desperation


it's been a few days
that i began to feel
something inside us
is not the way i ought to be

all i know is that somehow
you slipped away
and all what remains
is just a mess inside of me
because i see

though you're beside me
i can not reach you
you're anywhere but here

do you feel the waters rise outside
there's no place to hide
drowning in hopeful desperation
but still i see the sun up in the sky
while clouds are passing by
shining with hopeful desperation

can we stop us from losing ourselves

now i wonder if we can rearrange inside
and if there's a chance to find
a little space of time

so we gotta find out
where to turn from here
or if all the closed doors never
can be opened again
because i see
