On May 31, 2008, this was posted in the band's official myspace:"As of May 2008 Beyond Fatal is officially on indefinite hiatus. The decision was mutual, and is a direct result of life circumstances amongst the members. [...] Thanks to all our fans for their years of support; we MAY return someday in the future. Beyond Fatal just could not be Beyond Fatal without Adam, and we will not continue without his talents. The remaining members of the band will now focus their efforts on a new metal project. Black Materia's future is uncertain, but we are looking for a new drummer for both of these projects."
