Ian Gillan Band

Miután Ian Gillan elhagyta a Deep Purple nevû brit hard rock zenekart(Ritchie Blackmore-ral való konfliktus miatt) 1973-ban, szóló karrierbe kezdett.1975-ben megalapította az Ian Gillan Band nevû bandát(kezdetleges nevén: Shand Grenade-t).Ray Fenwick(gitár), John Gustafson(basszus gitár), Mike Moran(billentyû) és Mark Nauseef(dob) zenészekkel elkezdte ismét az zenélést.Késõbb 1976-1977 felé fölbomlottak, majd újrakezdte más tagokkal.1984-ban a Deep Purple újraakalult, és Gillan folytatta pályafutását, régi(barátai) kollégái között.(De folytatja szóló karrierjét is.)
