A Powerglove egy 2005-ben alakult, amerikai power metal (instrumental) zenekar. A bandatagok találóan a Nintedo egyik termékének nevét, a Power Glove-ot választották a zenekarnak. Jól ismert videojátékok zenéit adják elõ, természetesen metálos feldolgozásban. Az elsõ EP lemezük, a Total Pwnage 2005-ben jelent meg. Az elsõ albumukat pedig 2007-ben adták ki Metal Kombat for the Mortal Man néven. Zenéikben megtalálható a Super Mario, Tetris, Mortal Kombat, Power Rangers és még sok más játék dallama. Aki ezeken a játékokon/rajzfilmeken nõtt fel, ismeri, szereti vagy szerette ezeket, itt bátran nosztalgiázhat. ;D Az utóbbi években a zenekarnak lehetõsége nyílt híres bandákkal is koncertezni, mint például a DragonForce, HammerFall vagy Sonata Arctica. Majd 2010-ben kiadták 2. nagylemezüket Saturday Morning Apocalypse néven. Ezen már inkább a rajzfilmekbõl jobban ismert dallamok vannak többen, a lemezen megtalálható az X-Men, Pokémon, de még a Micimackó is. És még egy érdekesség: A Sonata Arctica énekese, Tony Kakko is szerepet kapott az új CD-n! :)
