Vastator is one of the most classic heavy metal bands in Chile , they’re back from the 80’s stronger than ever. Chilean band was formed on 1986 by Nelson (A.K.A. Sr. Díaz) D’Aldunce (vocals) and Sergio Bustamante (guitars) . They’ve had many various line-up changes.. In 1987 they presented “Inconsciencia Asesina” their first album with notorious thrash influences, like Slayer, Dark Angel and Exodus.. By 1989 Vastator presented “Máxima Entropía” their second album with the original Vastator style, mixing thrash and classic heavy metal.. Their most direct influences were Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate, Manowar and other legends of metal. Máxima Entropía was a success and Vastator was considered one of the best metal bands from South America by specialized media . This situation made recognized Vastator in many countries like Japan , Poland , Germany , Italy , New Zealand and many others. After the Entropitour ( Argentina , Perú and Chile ) Vastator disappears in 1989 and the members start with solo projects with a limited success. Bustamante’s Rainbow Caos Rob Díaz After nine years in 1998 Vastator Reborn and edited a new album “Guía Para Odiar a tu Prójimo”. That’s a compilation from their previous albums and unreleased and new songs. The Vastator reunion line-up: Sr. Díaz (vocals) Sergio Bustamante (guitars) Paquete Hormazabal (bass) Gerardo Barrenechea (drums): 2001 Vastator was influenced by several art styles since medieval age to our days. The lyrics talking about horror stories, myths, feelings of desperation and csi fi. The band make a new studio album “The Night of San Juan ”, with very good critics and sales. The band release a new album in 2007 called “Hell Only Knows” This album is been supported with two videoclips “Hell Only Knows” and “Unbreakable”.
