A Velvet Acid Christ egy electro-industrial banda Denverbõl (USA, Colorado). Az együttes 1990-ben alakult. Érzelmi csalódásokat és drogos tapasztalatokat osztanak meg a rajongókkal. Ezekbõl a szociális kifejezésekbõl alakult ki egy forma, amit Bryan Erickson, az együttes állandó tagja ad át. A Velvet Acid Christ a kezdetekben beleszövõdött az európai underground nightclubok színpadára, és ez vezette be az együttest az észak-amerikai köztudatba, azután rövidesen a többi kontinens is megismerte a VAC-t.
Bryan Erickson Westminsterbõl (USA, Colorado) a Velvet Acid Christ fõ vokalistája, énekese, zenésze és producere. Fõleg neki köszönhetõ az együttes létezése, és a project irányát is megváltoztatta idõközben kifejezetten saját fejlesztéseivel.
Az együttes elkészített 12 teljes hosszúságú albumot és jelenleg élvezik, ahogy a goth és industrial szubkultúrák képviselõi megismerik a zenéjüket.
