A Cripple Bastards 1988-ban alakult Asti-ban(Olaszország).Az alapítók Giulio the Bastard (énekes) és Alberto the Crippler (gitáros) voltak akik a metal-al befolyásolt punk zenekar ,a Grimcorpses-ben zenéltek. Õk nem voltak elégedettek a zenéjükkel és elhatározták hogy extrémebbé teszik a stílusukat. Egyesítették a hardcore-t a grindcore-ral,némi metal-al, így sikerült sokkal különbözõbb zenét játszaniuk mint az akkori,többi grindcore banda. Az elsõ demójuk egy split kazetta volt,(a másik zenekar tagjai között voltak olyanok akik késõbb csatlakoztak a Cripple Bastards-hoz). Még néhány dal-t és demót ezután felvettek. 1994-ben a zenekarhoz csatlakozott Eduardo(basszusgitár). A következõ évben a zenekar kiadta az elsõ teljes albumukat (Your Lies In Check), Paolo (dob) ekkor csatlakozott a zenekarhoz. Miután a bemutatkozó albumuk megjelent, Eduardo elhagyta a bandát és felváltotta Stefano. Ahogy az évek haladtak, a zenekar több tagcserén is átesett.A második albumuk (Misantropót a Senso Unico) 2000-ben jelent meg ,amely a Terrorizer magazin-ban a 6.-ik helyen végzett az európai grindcore albumok között, James Hoare helyettes szerkesztõ leírta hogy ez a zene,a Hate-Grind amely eddig elég ellentmondásos volt,'hitelesen veszélyes',tekintettel a tagságra.Ez az album elment egy meg nem alkuvóbb irányba, az utolsó album volt amin Alberto the Crippler gitározott,azután elhagyta a bandát. Mindezek után alakította ki a zenekar a legstabilabb felállását.2003-ban a zenekar kiadta a Desperately Insensitive-et, aminek már egy jóval tisztább hangzást adtak.2008-ban jelent meg negyedik lemezük a Variante alle Morte .Eddig: 3 önálló turné (Europe 2000, az US East Coast 2002 és a US West Coast 2003), és több nemzetközi fesztivál-on való fellépés (Fuck a Commerce Németországban 2001-ben , Obscene Extreme 1999-ben, 2000-ben, 2001-ben 2003-ban és 2006-ban Csehországban , a Maryland Deathfest az USA-ban 2007-ben .Több zenekarral is felléptek, mint például a Napalm Death, Dismember , Suffocation , Pungent Stench , Brutal Truth, Nasum, Ratos de Porão, Extreme Noise Terror, Varukers és Chaos UK.
