VEIL came into existence in 2003. The intent of this project was (and still is) to create atmospheric music with an emphasis on it's darker, sombre, and melancholic tendencies while offering ideological alternatives to the typical suicidal/depressive themes often focused on in this style of music.In the years 2003-2006, VEIL consisted of founding member S. performing all instruments and vocals. In the year 2007, Thurisaz joined the band taking over all vocal duties.VEIL has been a studio band exclusively, but there are now preparations being taken towards live performances. These should be announced in the not so distant future.
