I am the bringer of death and the reaper is my name
I pump fear into every man and take away his life
to some I only am a symbol as to death
but others recognize me as my proper form
I am the face of all fears, all will suffer my blade
one swing will bring the end and decapitate your corpse
one can't escape my torment they don't know I'm there
instead they fear the darkness in which my presence dwells
in midnight darkness I will rid you of your life
no being can renounce me I am forever death
I will forever reign for all eternity
I am an invincible force nothing destroys me
through centuries of being some have tried to end my wrath
but soon they found that death is certain life is not
I am the one you despise for taking your loved ones lives
I showed them no mercy instead I showed them pain
in midnight darkness I did rid them of their lives

it's harsh reality for one to face the real death
yet in the glimpse the see me they have no life left for dread
and you can't destroy me, I am the one who creates death, bow your head to me and die
