SHOULD HAVE
The grey sun and the blood stained snow,
red tears sliding down my arms then let me go,
the darkness slowly makes its way into my mind,
without a word, my soul sighs.
A moment of silence to respect past existence,
when times had a meaning and we were different,
all flourish and green turned into metal and stone,
the once rich soil gives birth to a concrete wall.
One more second in this rugged shell...
One more second in this living hell...
Bloodshed to see humanity's glory
matter of things comes from philosophy,
destruction brings life for others
that's what creates the pillars.
Once we thought values matter, now we think about gold,
humility has been conquered by greed, so bold,
unbearable, i can't breath in a world like this,
I've cut my veins to forget it exists.
The first slash pierced a heart, then another,
in this selfish sorrow I forgot my lady, my lavender,
I couldn't change the world, because I never tried,
I only had the grief to carry around.
