Поднялись над Русью несметные орды,
Рождённые мраком в далёких степях,
Несущие гибель на лезвиях сабель
Всем тем, кто пред ними почувствует страх.
Но ужас не ведом потомкам Перуна,
Меч в руку – и каждый готов защищать
Родную страну от коварных набегов,
И веру бойцов никому не сломать.
Червленые стрелы взвились над стенами,
Как только увидели солнца лучи.
И начался бой, и за жизнь, и за славу,
В мерцающих отблесках летней ночи.
Разбились враги о могущество Тверди,
Как черные реки о белый утёс.
Лишь кровь чужаки проливали напрасно -
Их крики отчаянные ветер унёс.
Так было и будет, на долгие годы,
Пусть недруг запомнит Славянскую сталь,
И ворон летит над свободной землёю,
Крылом осеняя небесную даль.

The battle begins for our life for the glory
Till glittering gloom of the summer nights gold.
Crushed were the foes by the warriors of Stronghold
Like black rivers licking at majestic white cliffs
In vain was there blood spilled, in vain were there lives spent
And the wind took away there laments of grief...
So it was and so it shall be once and forever
They will never forget the glory of our Slavic steel
Ravens touching the heavens with full feathers
Hovering over our land's now total free will... |
