A COMMUNIC egy  norvég progresszív metal, amit Oddleif Stensland [gitár/ének] és Tor Atle Andersen [dob] (mindkettõ ex-SCARIOT) alapítotott 2003 márciusában,.Nemsokára csatlakozott Erik Mortensen [basszusgitár]
A mai napig ez a felállás.
Egy virtuóz trió Norvégiából, ami elegánsan és meggyõzõen ötvözi a klasszikus metál nagyívû témáit és dallamvezetését a modernebb, matekos progmetál virtuozitásával. A Communic egyszerre érzelmes és pátoszos, illetve szofisztikált és rafinált. Valószínûleg ez a kettõsség keltette fel a színtér vezetõ kiadója, a Nuclear Blast figyelmét, amikor leigazolta a triót.
